I Just Read ...

__"Can't Wait To Get To Heaven"__ by Fannie Flagg

A quick read and a really great read! Elner, who is in her 80's, is searching for the answer to the question, "What's life all about anyway?" The story is comforting, funny, and heartwarming. I highly recommend it!

__"Sailing to Capri"__ by Elizabeth Adler

A light romantic mystery. Sir Robert Hardwick dies in an auto accident, and Daisy, his personal assistant, must discover whether someone is responsible for his death. All the suspects are invited on a cruise to Capri to figure out "whodunnit". Good story; light on the romance side.

"Blue Shoes and Happiness" by Alexander Mccall Smith

The newest in the "Ladies No. 1 Detective Agency" series. We are given more glimpses into everyday life in Botswana, Africa through the eyes and adventures of Precious Ramotswe, a "traditionally built" African woman and its "No. 1 Lady Detective". Poignant, humorous, and entertaining, while showing us ideals of honor and respect.

"Crisis" by Robin Cook

An intriguing medical mystery, filled with colorful characters as well as in-depth character development. A real page-turner down to the last sentence!

"Memory Keeper's Daughter" by Kim Edwards

A good story...well written but not always easy to read...interesting observation of human motivation and conscience. Part of the story takes place in Pittsburgh.

"The Innocent Man" by John Grisham

This is a real change from Grisham's usual style...this book is non-fiction. The complete title is: "The Innocent Man: Murder and Injustice in a Small Town". It's a good story, although there are so many minute details that I skimmed some of the long conversations.

"The Ultimate Christmas" Reader's Digest

Over 240 ideas for crafts, decorations, and recipes...I liked it so much, I bought it for myself immediately!
